The New York Center’s membership reflects the diversity and energy of New York itself.
We are business managers, mental health professionals, community leaders, educators, consultants, and students interested in understanding leadership and authority from a systems perspective. People join the Center in order to network with others who share an interest in group relations, learn more by participating in events, or advance the theory and practice of group relations through innovation. We invite you to apply for membership in the NY Center if you meet the following eligibility requirements: • Attendance in at least one group relations conference held under the auspices of the A.K. Rice Institute for the Study of Social Systems (AKRI), one of the affiliated centers, the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations, and/or;
• Participation in a group dynamics course within an educational institution, which involved an experiential learning process based on the traditions of the A.K. Rice or Tavistock Institutes.
